Japanese Bunkasai Programme. Auckland War Memorial Museum 8/9-19/9
New Japanese Language and Culture programme offered as a trial in 2008. Suitable for Y9-11. This 2-hour long programme includes an hour with a museum educator and native Japanese speakers doing activities based around 3 important aspects of Japanese culture. The other hour consists of a gallery tour with a Q&A worksheet using podcast technology. Students will create items to take away. Cost is $3 per student. Interested?
